Tour Itinerary

Day 1 – Padang → Siberut → Uma

Ferry from Padang to Siberut. Transfer to the Uma (traditional Mentawai house). Dinner. Overnight stay.

Day 2 – Cultural Activities

Breakfast. Learn how to make traditional arrow poison. Catch fish with the host mother (traditional method: naggu). Jungle trekking. Overnight stay.

Day 3 – More Mentawai Activities

Breakfast. Learn how to make bark-cloth clothing / other village activities. Swim at a small natural waterfall (weather permitting). Dinner. Overnight stay.

Day 4 – Return to Padang

Breakfast. Take photos with the host family. Ferry from Siberut to Padang.

A. Terms & Conditions

This tour is suitable for travelers ready to step out of their comfort zone.
You will stay in local homes with simple facilities.
Conditions are not like Western standards — an open mindset is needed.
Weather is hot and humid (around 30°C).
No electricity in the forest — bring a power bank.
Respect local culture: dress modestly, cover shoulders & knees; avoid shorts or sleeveless tops.
